ARTICLE OF THE WEEK
Articles are taken from Kelly Gallagher's Article of the Week database: http://www.kellygallagher.org/resources/articles.html
Articles should be "marked up" to show understanding and/or confusion. In other other words, you should highlight, underline, circle, write, etc. in order to show evidence of engaging with the text in a meaningful way. Also, a well-developed written response should be turned in along with the marked up article itself. Length and other guidelines will be given when the article is distributed; in general, the written response should be a minimum of 100 words, and may be required to contain direct quotes from the text and/or smiley-face tricks.
